BOSTON — The following local residents recently earned a degree from Simmons College in Boston.

Katherine West, of Jefferson, earned a Bachelor of Science, cum laude. West majored in neuroscience and behavior.

Alison Gauvin, of Whitefield, earned a Bachelor of Science. Gauvin majored in exercise science.
