So, about removing Confederate statues, Gov. Paul LePage said on a WGAN radio talk show, “I think what they are standing for is equally as bad, they are trying to erase history … How can future generations learn if we are going to erase history, that’s disgusting.”
Wasn’t removing public art that depicted Maine history, in the form of a mural in the Department of Labor building, one of his first acts as a governor of Maine?
So, some art is OK, but some is not? I suppose it would depend on your beliefs? I am very confused.
