A woman arriving to clean a Yarmouth pizza shop Monday morning crashed her car into the building after hitting the gas instead of the brake.

Lt. Dean Perry said Delsi Molina-Cueva, 51, of Windham was not injured when her Subaru hit the front of Romeos Pizza Sports Bar & Grill at 438 U.S. Route 1 shortly after 7 a.m. He characterized the incident as “purely accidental” and said the driver is not facing any charges.

Perry said he did not know the extent of damage to the building, but said the car did break through a window.

A post on the Romeos Facebook page said the restaurant is open Monday, but one of the three dining rooms will be closed.
