BELFAST — Adam Bertand ran for 121 yards on 11 carries and scored three touchdowns to help the Maine Central Institute football defeat Belfast 52-14 on Friday night.
Bertrand also had two interceptions for MCI (2-1), including one for a 43-yard touchdown return. Andrew Whitaker added a 44-yard touchdown run. David Young caught a 41-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Friend, Kempton Roy had a 32-yard touchdown run, and ZyAnthony Moss returned a kick 71 yards for a touchdown for the Huskies.
Belfast dropped to 0-3.
