Select Physical Therapy opens center in Farmington
Select Physical Therapy has opened its newest outpatient physical therapy center at 176 Livermore Falls Road, Unit 1, in Farmington.
The center offers patients access to one-on-one care and rehabilitation equipment to help strengthen the body efficiently, reduce pain and prevent future injury.
The center offers general and specialty physical therapy services, including orthopaedic rehabilitation, pre- and post-operative care, pediatric and geriatric
therapy, sports medicine, concussion management, return-to-sport care, vestibular rehabilitation and manual therapy. Work injury prevention programs also are
provided, including work conditioning, functional capacity evaluations and return-to-work programs.
The Farmington center treats a variety of symptoms, conditions and diagnoses and restores function to patients after injury, trauma or surgery to the joints or spine. Select Physical Therapy is overseen by Sean Shields, a board certified orthopaedic specialist who is the center manager.
Select Physical Therapy and its partner brand, Saco Bay Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy, have 13 locations in Maine. The two brands are part of the Select Medical Outpatient Division, a national provider of outpatient physical rehabilitation.
Coldwell Banker Plourde fund aids Waterville Area Habitat for Humanity
Waterville Area Habitat for Humanity has received a donation check from Coldwell Banker Plourde Real Estate Charitable Housing Funds.
The money will help finance a current house house construction project, which is expected to resume in early spring, according to the charity.
