READFIELD — Shala Davis scored the winning basket on a layup with 3 seconds remaining to give Mount View a 40-38 win over Maranacook in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference girls basketball action Saturday.
Andrea Crosby led the Mustang (4-10) offense with 18 points. Davis finished with eight.
Maranacook (2-12) was led by Anna Drillen with 15 points.
NOKOMIS 54, ERSKINE 34: Gabrielle Lord scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Warriors to the KVAC A win in Newport.
Maci Leali added 12 points for Nokomis (9-6) while Chelsea Crockett chipped in 11.
Erskine (3-11) was led by Jordan Linscott with 21 points.
SKOWHEGAN 71, BREWER 36: Annie Cooke scored a game-high 25 points and hauled in 14 rebounds to lead the host Indians to the Class A North win.
Sydney Reed added 14 points for Skowhegan (11-3) while Sydney Ames chipped in 12.
Brewer (7-7) was led by Rebecca Gideon with 10 points.
