UNITY — Police are searching for a man who robbed a pharmacy Monday afternoon, taking an undetermined amount of prescription medication.

The man, dressed entirely in black clothing with a ski mask covering his face, presented a note to a female employee at Unity Pharmacy on Plaza Drive, demanding he be given medication, according to a news release from the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office.

Police described the suspect as being about 6 feet tall with an average build and blue eyes.

Video surveillance from the store showed the suspect arriving at the pharmacy in a red, four-door car similar to a Chevy Aveo.

Police asked anyone with information on the robbery to call the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office at 800-660-3398.
