AUGUSTA — Lithgow Public Library will host three photography workshops in honor of National Photography Month at 45 Winthrop St. The free workshops are designed to help people improve their photography skills.
The first two workshops are geared to help people take better photos with what they already have and use, whether it’s a phone or a digital camera. The third workshop will teach people to take advantage of natural and designed lighting to take even better photos. Bring your camera (phone or tablet) and questions to class.
All workshops will have a limited class size. Sign up for any or all of the classes by calling or stopping by the reference desk.
• How to take better photos with your phone, led by Ray Sheely, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 16;
• How to use your DSLR, led by Gary Smith, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23; and
• Level up your photos with great lighting, led by Leah Haraden, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30.
Members of Capital Area Camera Club will donate their time to lead the workshops. L
