I am writing to support the candidacy of Alan Plummer for House District 88, which includes Chelsea, Whitefield, Jefferson, and part of Nobleboro. Alan grew up in Whitefield and now resides in Chelsea, where he both teaches and operates an innovative small business designing and building “tiny” houses.
I first met Alan 20 years ago when our teaching careers overlapped at Hall-Dale High School. I was struck then by his infectious optimism and his creative approach to teaching, and those qualities of his continue to impress me today. With a background that includes being a veteran, an educator, an information technology consultant, and a small business innovator, Alan has both the breadth and depth of experience to be a very effective representative for all of us in House District 88. So do us all a favor and join me in voting for Alan Plummer.
