Daryn Slover always pulls for the underdog - what would you expect from someone that was raised in Cleveland and lives in Lewiston. He drinks cheap coffee and cheap beer so that he can afford to put his kids on skis and on mountain bikes. He helps his wife coach the Auburn Middle School Nordic ski team, but is a terrible skier. Daryn has degrees from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Ohio University. Yes, he does root for the Cleveland Browns and still does not have a smart phone. When he is not riding mountain bikes with his family or waxing skis the night before his kid's ski race, he tackles snowstorms for the Sun Journal and uses his camera to spy on neighbor's kids in the school classroom so he can report back to mom and dad what well behaved children they have.
