STILL LIFE: Flag donation ceremony

The Winslow VFW 8835 color guard does a 21-gun salute following the raising of a large American flag during a ceremony at the Central Maine Veterans Memorial Park in Winslow on Thursday. The organization donated six armed services flags and two-dozen smaller American flags for flower pots.

STILL LIFE: Moving forward

Mike Soracchi, owner of the former Levine’s clothing store in Waterville, and INK-4-LIFE tattoo parlor co-owner Mona Juliano speak on Tuesday, as business employees renovate the big, large and tall section of Levine’s for the new location of the parlor. Fire destroyed the business last week forcing the move.
