Before that he worked in the Press Herald’s Brunswick Bureau where he spent several years covering news in several midcoast towns from Rockland and Wiscasset to Bath and Brunswick. He also covered Bath Iron Works, the Brunswick Naval Air Station, Bowdoin College, and the Maine Yankee Nuclear Power Plant during his years in Brunswick. Fore River drowning victim identified as 49-year-old Portland man
PORTLAND — City officials have identified the man who apparently drowned Friday night while swimming in the Fore River. Nicole Clegg, spokeswoman for the city of Portland, identified the victim as 49-year-old Patrick Flynn of Portland.
