The superintendent of Skowhegan-based School Administrative District 54 is blaming two Maine charter schools for a dramatic drop in revenue that could lead to deep budget cuts or higher taxes in the coming year.

Somerset County commissioners approve $11.7 million budget
Somerset County commissioners and county department heads approved an $11.7 million budget, roughly $570,000 lower than the current budget, for the coming year after a full day of deliberations.
