NORRIDGEWOCK — Firefighter James Gordon has been visiting older folks in town dressed in a Santa suit for the past 25 years. He was back at it on Saturday, arriving with his helpers in a fire truck, bringing candy and season’s greetings to more than 150 people all over town.

His interests include baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox, and feeding the wild birds that visit them in the winter.

WATERVILLE — Law enforcement and citizen search parties combed a Waterville neighborhood Sunday, but as evening fell, had not found missing 20-month-old Ayla Reynolds.

WATERVILLE — State drug enforcement agents have brought additional charges against a Thomaston man after finding a pound of the drug “bath salts” in a Jeep Wrangler that Waterville police had impounded Nov. 19.
