Two Rangeley residents were arrested Monday after police intercepted the pair allegedly attempting to sell prescription painkillers at the scenic overlook on Route 4.

Ross Thompson was arrested on Sunday as a fugitive from justice on a warrant out of Eagle County, Colorado, police said.

Taylor Gaboury, 21, was struck and killed by an allegedly drunken driver in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Dana Craney, sentenced to 35 years, initially pleaded not guilty to the Dec. 20, 2014, bludgeoning death of Joanne Goudreau.

Tommy Clark, of Industry, is charged with two felonies after police say he hit Taylor Gaboury, stopped, determined she was dead and fled the scene.
