Waterville Senior High School distance standout Bethanie Brown qualified to compete in three events in the New England Interscholastic Indoor Track and Field Championships. Whether or not Brown competes in all three won’t be decided until Saturday.
CLASS D BOYS BASKETBALL: Forest Hills takes another shot at title
Forest Hills (19-2) will face Central Aroostook (17-5) at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the Bangor Auditorium. This is the second straight Class D final appearance for Forest Hills, while Central Aroostook has won four state championships in the last eight seasons, most recently in 2011.

Derick Ouellette is not as big as you may think he is. The way he plays the low post, the Forest Hills High School senior doesn’t have to be 6-foot-5. He doesn’t even have to be his listed height of 6-1.
