Pittsfield council plans public hearing on $1 million loan for Main Street sewer work
The Town Council scheduled the hearing for March 1 and while an ordinance allows up to just over $1 million for the loan, the town has received a grant for some of the work so the loan would likely not be for the full amount.
Benton Select Board approves change to town’s fiscal year
Change would move the fiscal year from the conventional calendar year to July 1 to June 30. Residents must vote on the change at the annual Town Meeting in March.
