National Republican group spending $309K on ads against King

An arm of super PAC American Crossroads has purchased airtime in Maine broadcast and cable markets to begin running the ads on Tuesday.

Her challenger calls most of his quarterly donations different: They came from Mainers, not out-of-staters.

The Democratic congresswoman raises $167,237 in the third quarter, compared to $67,263 for her opponent, Republican Jon Courtney.
