Meet the 2024-25 Varsity Maine winter All-State/All-Region teams

We wrap up our winter all-state awards with the best of boys basketball, showcasing the 12 players who made the biggest impact this season.

Windham, Scarborough and Bangor standouts were among the state’s best this winter.

Senior Tayla Pelletier won the 55-meter hurdles and triple jump state titles, and placed third in the long jump at New Englands.

The senior overcame a hamstring injury to smash records and win titles this winter.

Lawrence, MCI and Erskine Academy feature multiple athletes on this year’s team.

MCI’s Sam Gerrie, Winslow’s Hassan Hobbi were among top athletes in the Kennebec Journal/Morning Sentinel area.

Maine’s stars produced some of the finest individual seasons in state history.

The Rangers’ girls team narrowly beats Freeport, and the boys dominate the competition.

Max Shapiro beats Marshwood’s Andre Clark in the 55-meter dash, while the Bangor girls and Scarborough boys claim team titles.

Marshwood’s Andre Clark and South Portland’s Arnaud Sioho are capable of breaking their own records at the Class A state meet.
