South China church taking orders for April 29 turkey dinner

Gardiner officials to consider a 4% increase in spending in the next budget year
For the municipal portion of the Gardiner property tax bill, the proposed spending increase would add 20 cents to the property tax rate, which currently stands at $22.20 per $1,000 of assessed valuation.

John Cameron named director of Gardiner Department of Public Works
The City Council endorsed Cameron’s appointment Wednesday. Cameron had been named deputy director late last year by City Manager Andrew Carlton, who was also serving as Public Works director while the position was vacant.
