SEARSPORT — Police say a person has been killed in a construction site accident in Searsport. The accident occurred Thursday afternoon on Route 1 when the unidentified victim was hit by a dump truck. WLBZ-TV reports that traffic at the scene was blocked off for about three hours after the accident.
