Two women indicted on drug trafficking charges following Benton traffic stop

Fairfield-area school district finds site for new building
The Maine State Administrative District 49 board of directors heard a presentation on how the district's school construction project is faring. The current plan is to renovate Benton Elementary School and use it to house students in kindergarten through second grade; third through sixth-grade students will be moved into a new building.
