Canaan man convicted in woman’s death and seen as suspect in second woman’s death dies in prison
Shannon Atwood, 53, who died Thursday, was sentenced in 2009 in the death of Cheryl Murdoch and had been seen as a suspect in the death of his wife, Shirley Moon-Atwood, whose body has never been found.
