Clinton property tax rate set at ‘artificially low’ level, consultant says
Residents at the Town Meeting in June rejected a proposal to raise the property tax rate, leading selectmen this week to use about $200,000 in undesignated money to cover costs, a move the town's assessor agent said could prove to be problematic.
