Cony High School adds Ukrainian flag to cafeteria following student appeal
The suggestion came from students who originally asked for the Russian flag to come down, but school officials have decided to let both the Ukrainian and Russian flags fly along with others in the Augusta school cafeteria.

Photos: Getting ready for opening night at Chizzle Wizzle in Augusta
The 131st annual Chizzle Wizzle variety show opened Tuesday for a week of live performances at Cony Middle and High School in Augusta. This year’s performances, which start at 7 p.m. and continue through Friday, mark a return to an in-person event after two years of being online, following COVID-19 restrictions that resulted in shows being recorded without a live audience.
