UMF professor and team receive grant from NASA
Dr. Andrew Barton, Professor of Biology at the University of Maine at Farmington, and his team of scientists will be trekking the Arizona ponderosa pine forest to monitor its ecosystems and compare their data to NASA’s ECOSTRESS, a thermal instrument on the International Space Station.
Broccoli takes over UMF dining hall
UMaine and Sodexo celebrated an initiative to have locally grown broccoli frozen and served in their dining halls during the winter by having broccoli specific dishes served to their students on Tuesday, Jan. 31.
