As organizers take extra precautions following a fatal wagon accident last year, the Christmas Day event on Sunday still aims to ensure no one has to spend the holiday alone and can enjoy a nice meal, the event founder said.

Officials said Thursday they are continuing to make repairs and assess the cost of repairing the damage caused by a water that flowed from the burst pipe.
