Does this ring a familiar bell with the folks here in Maine, maybe Wisconsin, Ohio:

“We must close union offices, confiscate their money and put their leaders in prison. We must reduce workers salaries and take away their right to strike.”

Adolph Hitler said it on May 2, 1933.

The justification for the attacks on labor back then are so similar to the justifications today, it should send chills down the spine of anyone who has the faintest grasp of history.
