8:32 a.m., there was a report of a weapons violation at Cony High School on Pierce Drive. A juvenile reportedly brought a knife to school. No threats were made with the knife.

9:03 a.m., police were called to Farrington School on Eastern Avenue for an out-of-control juvenile. No injuries were reported.

At 7:07 p.m., Brian Victor Aherne Jr., 34, of Augusta, was arrested on a charged of theft by police responding to a shoplifting complaint at Shaw’s on Western Avenue.

THURSDAY

At 1:17 a.m., Jeffrey J. Glantz, 46, of Windham, was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop on Memorial Drive. A 32-year-old Gray man was issued a summons charging him with operating after suspension.
