WATERVILLE — Citing declining registrations and diminished sponsorship, committee members have decided to postpone this year’s Arts Fest, originally scheduled for July 27 in downtown Waterville, according to a Waterville Main Street press release.

“Our commitment to produce a quality event resulted in this unfortunate decision, and we put it off as long as we could” said Jennifer Olsen, executive director of Waterville Main Street, said in the release. “We really feel confident that we will reinstate it next year with renewed energy, better focus and new partners at the table. Waterville continues to have a vibrant arts presence, and Waterville Main Street is committed to supporting that.”

Full registrations will be returned and new ideas and participation are welcome.
