Your fine housing-highway bill editorial in the Aug. 6 paper ( “Housing-highway bill’s filibuster another black eye for Congress”) made me think of the recent remark by Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell’s Democratic opponent, Allison Lundergan Grimes.
When the senator accused her of taking orders from the Obama administration, she responded that if McConnell’s doctor told him he had a kidney stone, he wouldn’t pass that either.
