March 26: A 20-year-old Oakland woman was charged with possession of a usable amount of marijuana, sale and use of drug paraphernalia, illegal transportation of liquor by a minor, possession of alcohol by a minor and unlawful possession of schedule W drugs during a traffic stop for an inspection sticker violation on Interstate 295.

A 48-year-old man was charged with displaying a fictitious inspection sticker, violating conditions of release and speeding during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 201.

Monday: At 9:43 a.m., firefighters responded to a report about smell of gas on Water Street.

2:55 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Bridge Street.

March 25: Police seized marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a search of a Water Street home.

March 26: Police were sent to Randolph in response to a report about two people hitting each other with baseball bats. The two people involved told police they were cousins who were fooling around and wrestling. Nobody was injured. There were no charges.

Monday: At 1:54 p.m., there was a report of a burglary on Windsor Street.

March 24: A 29-year-old man was charged with operating with a license that had expired in 2012, during a traffic stop on Route 17.

Monday: At 10:13 a.m., there was a report of a protection order violation on Meadow Drive.

10:43 p.m., there was an accident on Route 41.

Monday: At 2:43 p.m., there was a traffic complaint about an incident in the southbound lane of Interstate 295 near mile marker 46.

Friday: A 47-year-old was charged with criminal speed after police clocked his car at 107 mph in a 65-mph zone on Interstate 95.

Sunday: A 56-year-old Portland man was charged with operating after suspension on Rockland Road.

Monday: At 2:18 p.m., a car hit a deer on Taber Road.

Thursday: Two men, ages 23 and 21, were each charged with possession of a usable amount of marijuana during a traffic stop for a faulty brake light on Route 3. The 23-year-old also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Whitefield

March 25: A 2007 Honda Element being driven west on Pittston Road by a 51-year-old Whitefield woman hit a deer.

Winthrop

March 25: A 25-year-old woman was charged with operating after suspension during a traffic stop for a seat belt violation on U.S. Route 202.

ARRESTS

Augusta

Thursday: Joshua Demby, 43, was arrested on charges of operating after revocation and possession of a usable amount of marijuana during a traffic stop for an inspection violation on Route 3.

Lydia Wescott, 32, was arrested on a charge of possession of scheduled drugs after police reportedly found 1.5 ounces of marijuana and prescription drugs in her car during a traffic stop for a vehicle defect in the northbound lane of Interstate 95.

China

March 24: Aundria St. Amand, 18, of China, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear.

Thursday: James Lee, 32, of China, was arrested on a warrant.

Richmond

Friday: Steven Davis, 57, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence during a traffic on Route 197.

Sidney

Friday: Paige Thomas, 20, of Winslow, was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop for a vehicle violation on Interstate 95.

West Gardiner

Sunday: Ginni Labree, 39, of West Gardiner, was arrested on a warrant charging unpaid fines.
