LEWISTON — Mitchell Bonenfant pitched a complete game three-hitter and added a three-run triple to lead Cony to a 6-1 win against Lewiston in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A baseball action Wednesday.

Bonenfant, who struck out five and walked five, came up with a two-out, bases-loaded triple in Cony’s three-run second inning. Tayler Carrier added a run in the fourth when he stole home while two more runs scored on passed balls. The win is the sixth in the last seven games for Cony (6-6) while Lewiston is 6-5.

MT. ARARAT 7, MESSALONSKEE 4: Mt. Ararat scored five runs in the fourth inning to pull off the upset in KVAC A play in Topsham.

Griffin Stockford had three hits for Mt. Ararat (2-8). Zach Mathieu had three hits, including a double and a triple, for Messalonskee (8-2).

CARRABEC 3, WINTHROP 2: Boog Dunphy doubled and singled to help the Cobras take the MVC win in Winthrop.

Levi Murray earned the win for Carrabec (5-5) in relief of Dustin Crawford. Drew Stratton had two hits for Winthrop (6-5).

SOFTBALL

Messalonskee 19, Mt. Ararat 0, 5 innings: Eight different Messalonskee players had at least two hits as the visitors defeated Mt. Ararat in Topsham.

Messalonskee (6-4) had seven doubles and a triple among its 22 hits. Kylee Knight had two doubles, a triple and a single. MollyAn Killingbeck, Taylor Easler and winning pitcher Kristen Pelletier added three hits apiece. Contributing two hits to the cause were Kristy Prelgovisk, Delaney Collier, Maddi Charest and Cassidy Baker.

Mt. Ararat is 2-8.

TELSTAR 5, OAK HILL 1: Jessica Dirago struck out 10 batters and hit a double to lead the Rebels to a win over the Raiders in Bethel.

Autum Morin hit two triples for Telstar (8-2). Tori Ryerson added a double.

Oak Hill falls to 6-6.

WINTHROP 3, CARRABEC 2: Lilly Beaurguard scored on an error off a ball put in play by Kaylee Oberg in the bottom of the seventh to give the Ramblers the walk-off win over the Cobras in MVC action.

Krissy Doughty struck out 11 and walked none to get the win for Winthrop (8-3), while her counterpart, Mickayla Willette, struck out seven batters. Carrabec falls to 5-5 with the loss.

CONY 14, LEWISTON 0: Arika Brochu tossed a no-hitter with nine strikeouts and no walks to lead the Rams (11-1) to the KVAC victory over the Blue Devils (2-10). Brochu — who faced the minimum amount of batters — improved to 9-1 with the win.

Maggie Russell led the Cony attack with a single, home run and four RBIs, while Sydney Cheevers had two singles and three RBIs. Olivia Deeves and Haley Stevens each chipped in with a pair of singles.

BOYS LACROSSE

MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 24, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 1: Toby Smith scored four goals and notched five assists to lead the Hawks in Readfield. Zach Glazier scored five goals and added two assists for Maranacook/Winthrop (8-0). Denver Cram had two goals and five assists for the victors as well.

Mountain Valley dropped to 1-7.

MESSALONSKEE 17, LEWISTON 2: Dan Condon scored five goals to lead the Eagles (8-1) past the Blue Devils in Oakland.

Jose Languet, Jordan Holmes, Connor Leonard and Dylan Jones each had a pair of scores, while Ryan Erskine, Ben Weeks, Josh Yanelli and Will Weeks also scored.

GARDINER 16, MT. BLUE 2: Jake Truman finished with four goals, while Josh Caldwell, Skylar McMillan and Logan Clarke each had hat tricks to pace the Tigers (6-2) past the Cougars (0-8) in Gardiner.

Walker Norton had two goals, while Jake Folsom scored once for Gardiner. Casey Taylor and Conor Roullard scored for Mt. Blue, while Nate Moore made 13 saves in net.
