As a former Waterville resident and small business owner, I’m writing to express my support for Jibryne Karter, candidate for Ward 6 City Council. Jibryne is an awesome guy, who helped my cleaning business grow by his many referrals.
My desires are to move back to my hometown. Unfortunately, high property taxes and the unfriendly business climate prohibit me. As a single mom, the added cost of pay-as-you-throw creates another financial burden.
Jibryne is running to empower the residents and to improve our business climate, so people like me can relocate my business operations to Waterville, along with purchasing a home. At a recent community cleanup day, I watched Jibryne stop what he was doing and just listen with empathy to the concerns of residents.
Jibryne is an honest person who truly cares. I’m asking everyone in Ward 6 to support his candidacy, so Waterville can flourish once again.
