MADISON — Madison American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 39, will host a “Boots on the Ground” event, the American Legion Auxiliary’s project for “Make A Difference Day.” The Auxiliary invites the public to join them from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Madison American Legion Hall on 20 South Maple St., to cut, sort, count and mail coupons to deployed families, address Veterans’ Day cards to the legionnaires of Post 39 and gather box tops and Labels for Education to be distributed to the local schools.
