I am a voter from Augusta, and we need change. Rebecca Cornell du Houx, the Democrat candidate for Senate District 24, is whom I believe fits that bill. She cares for the people. She cares for equality. She cares for our environment. She cares for our children, and seeks that they all have quality and affordable education.
Now, Sen. Roger Katz, R-Augusta, is practically family to myself, and I have nothing but respect for him. But I think we need to have some of my generation step up and take the reins and lead our great state.
I am not a Republican, nor am I a Democrat. My vote goes to whom I believe is best suited for the job. That said, that is why my vote is for du Houx.
