PITTSFIELD — Sebasticook Valley Health, 130 Leighton St., will offer a basic life support training for healthcare providers from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, according to a news release from Sebasticook Valley Health’s Community Health and Education department.

This class is for healthcare workers who require a new certification. Life support skills for adults, infants and children, including the use of an automated external defibrillator, rescue from choking and the use of a bag-mask device, will be taught.

The cost is $75, which includes a textbook. Registration is required.
