Brian and Linda Dutil, of Waterville, have announced the engagement of their son, Jeffrey Clark Dutil, to Trilby Elin Burgess, daughter of Charles Burgess, of Union, and Peggy Burgess, of Rockland.
Jeffrey, of Waterville, is a 2006 graduate of Waterville High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, where he received a bachelor of arts degree in sociology. He is employed by Pepsi Inc., in central Maine.

Trilby, also of Waterville, is a 2005 graduate of Medomak Valley High School and a 2010 graduate of Kaplan University, where she received an associate degree in applied science in medical assisting. She is employed as a medical assistant by MaineGeneral Medical Center in Waterville.
An Aug. 15, 2015, wedding is planned, followed by a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico.
