SKOWHEGAN — Somerset Career & Technical Center students competed March 6 at the SkillsUSA competitions in Bangor.
SCTC took six students to compete and three received medals. The gold medalist has the chance to represent SCTC in June in Louisville, Ky.
Medalists include Patrick Reynolds, gold, T-shirt design; Josh Surette, silver, photography; Paige Redlevske, bronze, prepared speech; Jacob Poirier, fourth, pin design; Emma Downing, fourth, job interview; and Meredith Dorian, fifth, early childhood education.
All students attend Skowhegan Area High School. Instructors Jen France, early childhood education, and Jeremy Bourque, digital graphics, supported these students at the competitions.
