Gregory and Sandra Cormier, of Waterville, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Katie Cormier, to Christopher Doherty, son of Suzanne Doherty, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Michael Doherty and stepmom Lisa Doherty, of Somersworth, N.H.
Katie, of Waterville, is a graduate of Waterville High School and a 2010 graduate of Thomas College. She is employed by Kaplan University in Augusta.
Christopher, of Topsham, is a graduate of Mount Ararat High School and a 2009 graduate of Thomas College. He is employed by Brunswick Golf Club in Brunswick.
A July 18, 2015, wedding is planned.
