Maine Connections Academy, the state’s first full-time, tuition-free virtual public charter school for grades 7-12, is enrolling students for the 2015-16 school year. Interested families can learn more about how virtual school works and if it’s the right fit for their students by attending a live Parent-to-Parent Session held statewide by Maine Connections Academy families over the coming weeks.

Maine Connections Academy Parent-to-Parent Sessions are set for:

• Friday, July 24, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Dunkin Donuts, 339 Main St., Waterville.

• Monday, July 27, 6-7 p.m., Panera Bread, 37 Xaiver Loop, Augusta.

• Monday, Aug. 3, 6-7 p.m., Starbucks, 2 Waterville Commons Drive, Waterville.

• Saturday, Aug. 8, 10-11 a.m., Cafe Nomad, 450 Main St., Norway.

• Wednesday, Aug. 12, 6-7 p.m., Starbucks, 2 Waterville Commons Drive, Waterville.

Those interested will have the opportunity to speak with parents of MCA students, explore the program and curriculum, and ask questions about the enrollment process during this in-person parent-to-parent session. Children are welcome.
