Franklin Health Care Support Nurse Nancy Thomas recently presented the Goslin Medal award to Joanne Stinneford, right, and her daughter Debra Vining for living well with insulin-dependent diabetes for more than 50 years. Ryan Stinneford was also recognized, but unable to attend the small ceremony at Franklin Memorial Hospital to honor this distinction for conscientious and courageous attention to the many challenging details involved in managing diabetes.
