The Goodrich-Caldwell Legion Post 6 in Hallowell recently presented 95-year-old Kenneth H. Ramage, left, a 70-year membership in the American Legion award. Presenting the award to Ramage, a World War II veteran, was Post Commander Gerald Stuart and Maine District Commander Donald Chase. Ramage also was presented with the Eagle Cane by Burt Truman and a vial of sand from Normandy’s Omaha Beach. Ernest DeRaps, chaplain of Hallowell’s Post 6, at right.
