HALLOWELL — A little rain Saturday, July 18, couldn’t dampen the high spirits of performers, presenters and participants on Old Hallowell Day. Featuring once-a-year reunions with former classmates, neighbors and friends, as well as music, food and activities for all ages.
Some folks also won prizes and awards. Here is the 2015 winners’ line-up:

OHD 5K Road Race:
With more than 200 registered participants, Jenna Karajewski (18:15), of Hallowell, was first-place overall winner.

Cribbage tournament:
Sue Goodridge, of Coopers Mills, took first placed. Lorraine Gagne, of Seminole, Florida, placed second; and Linette Osborne, of Hallowell, placed third.

OHD Raffle winners:
Caroline Sousa won the drawing for the 2015 Old Hallowell Day ‘Up the Lazy River’ original painting by Chris Cart.
Raffle winners of gift certificates to various local restaurants and businesses were Phil McCarthy, first prize; Susan Martin, second; Ethan Bessey, third; Chuck Aucoin, fourth; and Earle Bessey, fifth.
