Wrestlers from Erskine Academy, Maine Central Institute, Oak Hill and Winslow won Class B regional championships on Saturday.

MCI’s ZyAnthony Moss (120) and Winslow’s Devon Vigue (113), Ryan Fredette (170) and Patrick Hopkins (182) won individual titles in the Class B North championships at Winslow High School. Erskine’s Jake Peavey (285) and Oak Hill’s Danny Buteau (120) and Brendon Tervo (170) won individual titles at the Class B South championships at Mountain Valley High School in Rumford.

The top four wrestlers in each weight class at each regional qualified for the state championships, which are next Saturday at Oceanside High School in Rockland.

Winslow also qualified Ben Abbott (160) and Nat Beckwith (220) for states.

Foxcroft took the Northern B team title with 205.5 points, followed by Ellsworth (146), Belfast (141.5), Winslow (117) and Oceanside (97).

In addition to Peavey, Erskine qualified seven wrestlers for states from the South regional — Issac Parker (106), Michael Sprague (113), Isaac Taylor (126), Gabe Solorzano (132), Justin Studholme (152), Jeff Kierstead (160), and Derrick Dyer (195). Madison’s Dawson Senter (120), Joseph Foss (170) and Matt Brown (285) also earned a state berth, along with Calvin Thompson (120), Abram Sirois (145) and Christof Fox (285) of Monmouth Academy.

Dirigo won the team title with 200 points, well ahead of runner-up and host Mountain Valley (147.5). Wells (131.5), Erskine (104.5) and Lisbon (66) rounded out the top five.
