DAMARISCOTTA — Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center will co-sponsor the AARP Smart Driver Seminar with AARP and Lincoln County TRIAD from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the center, 521 Main St.
This program is a driver refresher course designed to meet the needs of older drivers. It covers such issues as age-related physical changes, declining perceptual skills, local driving problems, license renewal requirements, and more.
AARP instructor Joyce Polyniak will teach the course.
Class size is limited to the first 15 community members (age 50 and older) who register.
Cost is $20. All participants who successfully complete the course are eligible for a reduction in automobile insurance premiums.
A half-hour break is scheduled for a brown bag lunch. To reserve a spot, call 563-1363.
