“Neither Wolf nor Dog,” based on the award-winning novel by Kent Nerburn, features a performance by elder, Dave Bald Eagle who was 95-years old during the time of filming. After he passed away last year the team from All Things Considered on NPR debated whether “He was the world’s most interesting man”.

The film is a road movie through the heart of Lakota Country. It opens at the Railroad Square Cinema in Waterville on Friday, Sept. 15. It is the first theatre in the state to show the film.

The film, funded by the audience, was shot with a crew of two and self-distributed by the film-maker.
