AUBURN — Lydia Bradfield and Edin Sisson each had a goal and an assist to lead the Messalonskee girls soccer team to a 3-0 blanking of Edward Little in a Kennbec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game on Thursday.

Caitlin Parks had a goal, while Brianne Benecke added an assist for Messalonskee (4-1-0). Hannah DelGiudice and Megan Wilson combined for three saves to earn the shutout.

Taylor Depot had 11 saves for Edward Little (2-2-1).

MONMOUTH 8, CARRABEC 0: Tia Day had a hat trick to spark the host Mustangs to the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Alicen Burnham chipped in two goals for Monmouth (4-1-0) while Audrey Fletcher added a goal and two assists. Abbey Allen and Emily Grandahl also scored. Destiny Clough made eight saves.

Ashley Cates stopped 26 shots for Carrabec (2-2-1).

HALL-DALE 2, WINTHROP 0: Sabrina Freeman had a goal and an assist as the Bulldogs took over in the second half for the MVC win in Farmingdale.

Naomi Lynch handed Hall-Dale (2-2-1) the 1-0 lead in the 56th minute. Riley Johnson made three saves to earn the shutout.

Samantha Moody made five saves for Winthrop (1-4-0).

VOLLEYBALL

GREELY 3, GARDINER 0: The Rangers won all three games by identical 25-12 scores to even their record at 3-3 on the season.

Gardiner fell to 0-4.

BOYS SOCCER

EDWARD LITTLE 8, MESSALONSKEE 2: Jacob Perry scored two goals for the Eagles, who fell to the Red Eddies in Oakland.

Dawson Charles had six saves for Messalonskee (1-3-1).

Eli Thibodeau was among the scorers for Edward Little (4-0-1). Noah Sterling had four saves.

FIELD HOCKEY

GARDINER 8, MORSE 1: Marlaina Stickney had a hat trick and an assist as the Tigers cruised to the KVAC B win in Bath.

Mikayla Bourassa, Aimee Adams, Maggie Bell, Sarah Foust and Lindsey Bell all added goals for Gardiner (5-0-0).

Sophie Wilson made 30 saves for Morse (3-1-0). Vanessa St. Pierre scored the lone Shipbuilder goal.
