Fire destroys Moscow sugar shack
MOSCOW — As firefighters responded to a report of a fire Friday night, they could see the glow of the flames about a mile away.
About eight firefighters responded to the fire around 10:30 p.m. that destroyed a sugar shack owned by Frank Hunnewell, said Bingham Fire Department Chief Scott Laweryson on Monday.
There was no electricity at the shed-style building off Canada Road, Laweryson said, and the structure was so badly burned he couldn’t determine how it started.
No one was injured.
