GARDINER — Adam Fortier-Brown, 14, of Randolph, a student at Gardiner Regional Middle School, was named a semifinalist in the National Geographic Society Maine Geographic Bee.
The 2011 Maine Geographic Bee was held on April 1 at the University of Maine in Farmington.
Brown is the son of Rob Brown and Nancy Fortier-Brown. This is the second year in a row that he has represented his school at the state level.
